How long will my application take to be processed?

Your application can take as little as 48 hours to be processed; you will be kept informed of the progress of your application by email. Before your application is validated and you are able to download a licence certificate you are required to pay for your licence fee – please log in to your account and down load your Pro Forma invoice from the module status page.

What is the Retails Sales Value and why am I required to provide this?

The Retail Sales Value (RSV) is the figure calculated by multiplying the price the consumer pays for your product by the volume which you supply the product to your customer. The RSV figure is used to determine AFS’ annual KPI figures and assess how we increase Red Tractor on food each year – so it is essential that you provide us with this information.

If you return to the link www.redtractorlicenceapplication.org.uk and click ‘forgot password’ under the login area and follow the on screen instructions a new set of details will be created for you.

I am not sure if my business operation is eligible to use the Red Tractor Logo.

You can check if your business operation is eligible to use Red Tractor by contacting a member of the licence team (020 7630 3320) or by emailing support@redtractor.org.uk Otherwise once you have created an account you can view the eligibility criteria for each food category applicable to Red Tractor in the first part of the application.

I am new to the Red Tractor scheme – how much will the licence cost my business?

AFS charges a licence fee to cover the costs of administering the licence as well as a trace audit programme to ensure that integrity of Red Tractor is maintained at all times. Please contact the licence support team to discuss how much a licence will cost your business.

I am having trouble printing my Pro Forma invoice?

The Pro Forma invoice is a ‘pop up’ on the licence website. If you are experiencing difficulties printing the pro forma you may need to hold down the ctrl key on your key board at the same time as clicking the left button on your mouse. Alternatively ‘turn off’ your pop up blocker on your PC by selecting tools > turn off pop up blocker.
